The promoter of this promotion is Alliance Foods SA (Pty) Ltd.

The promotion is open to South African citizens and permanent or temporary residents aged 18 years or older who are in possession of a valid South African identity document, passport, or valid legal permit. The following persons are not eligible to participate: directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, franchisees, marketing service providers of the Promoter, or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, including their spouses, life partners, immediate family members, or business partners.

The promotion commences on 1 March 2026 at 00h01 and closes on 28 March 2026 at 23h59. Any entries received after the closing date and time will be invalid and will not be considered.

a) View the promotional advertisement online
b) Interact with the digital scratch-to-reveal mechanism to reveal their allocated Krusher
c) Click the "Get Your Code" call-to-action button displayed

1. THE PROMOTER

The promoter of this competition is PAKNSAVE (PTY) LTD, hereafter referred to as the Promoter.

2. PARTICIPATING STORES

This competition is valid only at the following participating Pick 'n Pay stores:

a) PnP Reyno Ridge

b) PnP Westonaria
-
c) PnP Parys

3. ELIGIBILITY
-
The competition is open to South African citizens and permanent or temporary residents aged 18 years or older who are in possession of a valid South African identity document, passport, or valid legal permit.

The following persons are not eligible to participate: directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, franchisees, and marketing service providers of the Promoter, Pick 'n Pay, or any associated companies, including their spouses, life partners, immediate family members, or business partners.

4. PROMOTION PERIOD
-
The competition commences on 16 March 2026 at 00h01 and closes on 6 April 2026 at 23h59. Any entries received outside of this period will be invalid and will not be considered.

5. HOW TO ENTER
-
To enter the competition, participants must:
-
a) Purchase any butchery item/s from a participating store during the competition period.
-
b) Ensure that the total butchery spend in a single transaction is R250.00 (two hundred and fifty rand) or more.
-
c) Retain the original till slip as proof of purchase.
-
d) Take a clear photograph of the till slip.
-
e) Scan the QR code displayed on the competition wobbler in-store.
-
f) Send the photograph of the till slip via WhatsApp to the competition number opened by the QR code.
-
g) When prompted by the automated WhatsApp bot, reply with your full name and contact number to complete your entry.
-
Each qualifying transaction of R250.00 or more on butchery items constitutes one (1) entry. Participants may enter multiple times, provided each entry is from a separate qualifying purchase.
-
Entries will be validated by an automated WhatsApp bot that analyses the till slip image to confirm the presence of butchery items and the qualifying spend amount. The Promoter's decision on entry validity is final.
-
Illegible, altered, duplicate, or fraudulent till slips will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to request the original till slip for verification purposes.

6. THE PRIZE
-
One (1) winner per participating store will be selected, resulting in three (3) winners in total. Each winner will receive one (1) braai and cooking hamper containing the following:

The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable for cash or any other product, and no alternatives will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or any prize component with a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control require it.

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
-
After the competition closes on 6 April 2026, all valid entries per store will be collated from the competition database.
-
One winner per store will be selected by random draw from all valid entries for that store.
-
Winners will be contacted via WhatsApp or phone call on the contact number provided at the time of entry. If a winner cannot be reached within 48 (forty-eight) hours of the first contact attempt, a new winner will be drawn from the remaining valid entries.
-
The winners will be announced on the participating store's social media platforms.
-
The Promoter's decision regarding winner selection is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. WHATSAPP AND TECHNOLOGY
-
Participants must have access to a smartphone capable of scanning a QR code and sending and receiving WhatsApp messages. The Promoter is not responsible for participants' inability to participate due to device incompatibility, network issues, or WhatsApp account restrictions.
-
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, network congestion, server failures, or any other technical issues that may prevent entry into or participation in the competition, or for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
-
The Promoter is not responsible for non-delivery of entry confirmation messages due to incorrect contact details, network failures, or technical issues beyond its reasonable control.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, acts in violation of these terms and conditions, or engages in any unlawful or improper conduct.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time for reasons beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fraud, technical failure, or changes in law. In such circumstances, participants waive any claim against the Promoter.

By entering the competition, participants grant the Promoter the right, unless prohibited by law, to use the participant's name for announcement and competition-related publicity purposes without further compensation. No images or recordings of participants will be used for marketing purposes without prior written consent.

All entrants indemnify the Promoter, its directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and contractors against any loss, damage, or claim arising from participation in the competition or acceptance or use of the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, except as provided for under the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008.

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions, which are binding on all entrants.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION (POPIA COMPLIANCE)

Personal information collected during this competition will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

The Promoter is the responsible party as defined in POPIA and is committed to protecting participants' personal information.

Personal information collected includes: full name, cellphone number, and WhatsApp number provided during entry.
-
The purpose of collection is solely for: administering the competition, verifying eligibility, contacting and announcing winners, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations.
-
Personal information may be used for direct marketing purposes unless participants provide separate, explicit opt-out for such communications.

By providing a cellphone number and submitting an entry via WhatsApp, participants consent to receiving WhatsApp messages related to this competition and marketing related items from the Promoter.

Personal information will be stored securely using appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss, damage, or destruction.

Personal information will be retained only for as long as required by law or for competition administration purposes, after which it will be securely deleted or destroyed.

Upon successful submission of the entry form, participants will receive a unique promotional code via WhatsApp to the cellphone number provided. The Promoter is not responsible for non-delivery of codes due to incorrect contact details, network failures, or technical issues beyond its reasonable control.

Each unique code entitles the holder to one complimentary Krusher when purchasing any meal at participating Alliance Foods KFC stores, namely: KFC Market Square, KFC Heugh Road, KFC Summer Strand, KFC Albany Road, KFC Traduna, and KFC Boardwalk.

To redeem the offer, participants must:
a) Purchase any meal from a participating store
b) Provide the unique code to staff at the point of sale before payment is processed
c) The code will be entered into the point-of-sale system and will discount the Krusher from the total order value
d) Present valid identification if requested by store staff -
Each unique code is valid for redemption on the day of issue only and expires at 23h59 on the day it was issued. Codes cannot be extended, reissued, or used after expiry.

Each participant is limited to receiving one unique code per day throughout the promotional period. Each participant may only redeem one code per day.

Codes are unique, non-transferable, and may only be used once. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product. No change will be given if the value of the Krusher exceeds the meal purchase value.

The offer is valid only at participating stores as listed in clause 6. The offer cannot be redeemed at non-participating KFC stores.

The promotional Krusher must be redeemed in conjunction with the purchase of any meal. The offer cannot be used for the purchase of a standalone Krusher or redeemed without a qualifying meal purchase.

The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, discount, voucher, or special offer unless expressly stated otherwise by the Promoter.

Participation in the promotion is subject to availability of Krusher stock at participating stores. In the event that a specific Krusher flavour is unavailable, the participant may select an available alternative flavour. The Promoter will not be liable for stock shortages or product unavailability.

Participants must have access to a smartphone or device capable of receiving WhatsApp messages. The Promoter is not responsible for participants' inability to receive WhatsApp messages due to device incompatibility, network issues, or account restrictions.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, acts in violation of these terms and conditions, or engages in any unlawful or improper conduct. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify codes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Promoter's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion.
